Hello, recently I came across a print by the famous artist William Hounsom Byles. I have as of yet been unable to identify this print, or to even find out what the original painting was called. The print measures 25 3/4 inches and is perfectly square. It is signed W. Hounsom Byles 1903(this signature is part of the print itself), and on the very bottom left side you can barely make out where it says”Printed by W.H. Byles”(This appears to be written in pencil). Ive tried to upload a picture but it would not work so here is my best description….the picture is of a beautiful young girl sitting on the beach feeding what appears to be seagulls right out of her hands, it is not in color or black and white for that matter, but has more of a beige or antique brown look to it. I would appreciate any help anyone could give at all, thank you…..Corey
I also have that print! Have not found any information other than the auction sale of the original.
