There is such a glare on the pic with the mark that I can`t read it !! From the style I would guess about 1940`s or so but need to read the words on bottom !! EP just means electro plated !! No you didn`t get scammed,, thats a fair price for the set,, lower than what I would expect it to sell for !! But garage sales are usually bargain prices !!
