I hope this is in the right place

Does anybody know anything about the name, origin, date, or value of this piece?
I’ve been told it’s a cocktail shaker, a Scottish flask, and nothign to do with alcohol at all. Google has failed me!

Here’s what i know about it:
>It only has a “Japan” stamped in the bottom, but no maker/brand
>It has a Music Box on the bottom that stops playing when you set it down
>The Music box is from Sankyo Japan (company or location?)
>It has a liquor spout on the top, one that looks like a needle top with a tiny air hole. this spout is also a cork.
>The European crest is the same one found here:

>It’s about 3-5 lbs in weight
