I have only been collecting cast iron cookware for a month now. I have come across a skillet..a number 10.. that has the small block Griswold logo, but also has the markings underneath the logo that say 11 3/4 Skillet (like a Wagner skillet would have) . Also underneath of that is Made in USA. I think all Griswold skillets have Erie or Erie, Pa. on them… Could this be a fake? Or could this be some sort of transitional pan since Wagner bought Griswold out. Its kind of interesting and I have a man trying to sell it to me for 20.00. It looks like a decent quality skillet, but I just dont know what it is. Can someone help a rookie out with this one? Thanks!

Darn,, just now saw this post !! For $20. buy it !! Yes a mix of two marking styles is not uncommon when one mfr purchases another !!
