French? Cloisonne? Inkwell with pen holder, stick match box? and maybe a ashtray? and a blotter rocker? Please help me identify where it came from and is t a 19th century set. Previous owner said it was a 19th century inkwell set. No makers mark that I can see.

My main forum antique-shop.com has many members worldwide so I posted a link to this thread hoping we could get an answer for you !! But for some reason when I try to look at the pics now they are a blur !! Could be a site problem here !! Would you mind trying to post them on www.antique-shop.com direct ?? One of our members collects French antiques and may be able to help if she can get a good look at this set !!

I have spent weeks trying to figure out whom these makers marks are EC and I think a D surrounded by a dotted oval.. Just can’t seem to find anything with even the EC with the dotted oval.. or even the ll.l symbols no one knows what they mean. So this will stay a mystery.. We were going to sell them to someone whom would be interested. Not knowing who made them or how much to ask for them. I am clueless.. ,and will just keep them in the china cabinet for now.. So many people give me different prices that I’m afraid I might go to low or too high.. Thank you for all your help.

I could be wrong about the champleve or cloisonne. As I had someone just tell me it had gold around edges and than it was filled in with glass. They thought it was Chinese maybe, as the colors and flowers matched some Chinese items they once owned. They are no expert and I have no clue.So now I am really confused about it..
