French? Cloisonne? Inkwell with pen holder, stick match box? and maybe a ashtray? and a blotter rocker? Please help me identify where it came from and is t a 19th century set. Previous owner said it was a 19th century inkwell set. No makers mark that I can see.

I did find on the wooden blotter a dotted half of a circle around I think it is a E C and also looks to be a V on both sides of the inside of the brass or bronze part of the blotter. On the inkwell when I took it apart from the base it looks like 3 lines with maybe a dot after the second line. After I down load the pictures I will post them. I have looked for the makers marks on here and haven’t come across them yet as there are hundreds to look through.

Can you try to take a pic of the mark ?? The little box is likely for stamps and the shell shaped piece may have held a sponge ect. for wetting the stamps !!

I thought that there was some kind of marking on the bottom of one, maybe type of circle. Not sure as it is hard to see. If it is a marking it is on the inkwell and pen holder on the edge. Do you have any idea when it was made or what type?

And there is nothing on the bottom of any of the items or the blotter back ??
