I have a silver spoon set that was from my father’s family. It may have been purchased by my grandfather or great-grandfather. I would like to know if anyone can help me identify the marks on the spoons and I have a rough drawing of both. The marks are inside a diamond shape. On the top of the diamond is an upside-down crescent moon over a star with a JB in the center and another star at the bottom. It also has an image of what I think is a Roman(?) warrior. Each of these marks appears on the end of the spoon’s bowl near the handle. I have attached the photos of the spoons and the rough drawing of the marks. There is also a J on the bottom of the back of the spoon representing the family name, Jaeger. If anyone can help me find out where the spoons originated and possibly give me an estimate of the value, if any, I would greatly appreciate it. 🙂
