Hello;
I already have several objects stamped “Iron Art” and am considering buying another on E-Bay. My question is in three parts:
#1.) Did more than one company make items stamped ‘Iron Art’? A Google search was terribly confusing suggesting at least three companies one of which was in NJ, and another in Chicago.
#2.) Is there a company history (or histories if multiple companies — see above) available which would list dates they were in business?
#3.) Certain identical items are available A.) unstamped, B.) stamped ‘coalbrookdale’, C.) stamped ‘EMIG’, and D.) stamped ‘Iron Art’. Is there a timeline or relationship?

Would be easier if you posted a pic please and one of the wording !! What you are looking for is foundry information if cast iron or a blacksmith if wrought iron !! Can`t tell what you have without seeing it !! Iron art could be either one !!
As you can see Coalbrookdale is a foundry !! They produce items that are cast !!
