Are you in the U.S. ?? The design is not typically American !!

It’s from a church. Gold plated bronze it’s made from engraved around the stones. Measures about 12 inch and unfortunately no marks at all. Any help?

Can you give the size please also knowing where you are and where you got the dish may help !! My first thought is an ashtray for cigar smokers,, possibly from a club of some sort !! But need to know size !! Are there any marks you can find on the back !! Does it look like copper or brass ??
