Hi I have an Art Nouveau style vase that is pewter. It is signed at the side which is not quite legible. Looks like Foi ‘3 or Joi or Toi or Tci.. Also marked on the bottom is Etain Garanti PUR. I’d like to find out approximate value and history. Thanks so much.

Hi! I did do a rubbing of the actual signature and have included pics of the rubbing (which I feel is still not legible). So, beside it I have included a pencil drawing of what the signature looks to be. Hope all this helps.

Can you try to make a pencil rubbing of that signature ?? May not be easy to get it with a curved surface but give it a try !!

Haven`t had much time today but don`t give up !! If we can`t figure out who made these things and why so many use the same descriptive term about the handle,, I can post to another antique forum !! There have been several signatures but truthfully it is not well done except for the handle !! That’s the best part of it !!
