This is a family piece. Approximately 10 x 10 inches. Not been cleaned but in very good condition. Marked as made and guaranteed by Meriden company #0190. Is there any value as an antique. Is being inscribed add or detract from the historical value?
Can you get a better pic of the mark on bottom ?? Personally,, I would get some good silver polish and clean it !! Tarnish will eventually damage the thin silver plate !!
Some people like the inscriptions,, others do not !! Its a personal thing !!
