I came across this old looking wooden box that I THINK is an old dueling pistols box. I was hoping someone could tell me if that was, in fact, what it is and if there is some way to find out the age/value of it. I see no markings other than a “BBB” near the handle.

The box is a darker wood, it latches on the front and has what appears to be leather handle. There are moving slats on the inside which I assume are to accomidate the pistols.
