I’m new to this forum so I hope I do it right. Does anyone know about Sheridan Products INC/Racine WI.
I think they made air guns at one time. I have a single shot 22. This gun has been in my family since the early to mid 1950’s. My parents who bought the gun have passed on. I ran across it while sorting family stuff. Any info would be great.
Cathy,
I love my old “Blue Streak” Sheridan. Mine is a pump air rifle chambered to fit 5mm or 20 caliber. The pellets I prefer are the Beeman hollow points. It is very accurate. I use mine to control the rabbit population occasionally and to plink cans. Over the years, the seals dry out and I have had them replaced by a company that services air rifles. The stocks on the old models are walnut. About seven pumps maximum but four or five is sufficient for power and accuracy if the seals are still good. At seven pumps it should go through the front ofa tin can and dent the heck out of the back. Be careful, they are not toys. 🙂
