I’m unsure if this item classified as a weapon or not but I am having tremendous troubles identifying this axe. I do know it was made by B.A. Hjorth & Co. Stockholm Sweden, which is stamped on bottom of the handle. Other than that I cannot find any information at all. I have scoured the web, put over 500 miles on the road going to different Antique dealers and 2 appraisers. With no luck at all on an approximate date, use our value.
