Missing PWAP Pictures Located

Officials at a school in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, have wondered for 25 years what happened to two 8-foot-by-6-foot pictures that were taken down when the school was renovated in 1995. They searched for them but and thought they may have been discarded with the trash. One piece showed Father Jacques Marquette and fur trader Louis Joliet. The other  pictured a factory worker. The large paintings made by PWAP artists about 1934 were hidden behind some cabinets. Luckily, relatives of the school principal remembered their location and the local historical society now has them on exhibit.
