The Museum at FIT (the Fashion Institute of Technology) specializes in fashion from the 18th century to the present. Galleries include special exhibits; student and faculty exhibitions; and the Fashion and Textile Historical Gallery. Online collections and past exhibits and programs are available on the website. The museum is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums.
