Description of Services:
The Trash Museum, or Treasures in the Trash, consists of discarded objects collected by Nelson Molina over the course of his career with the New York City Department of Sanitation. The collection is currently housed in a sanitation garage and consists of over 40,000 items, including furniture, decorative arts, toys, and jewelry. The Sanitation Foundation stewards the collection and offers tours and exhibits.
