An antique mirror consists of a frame and the silvered glass. The value is higher if both parts are original. Unfortunately, old mirrors often lose some of the backing and the reflective qualities are diminished. It is possible to “resilver” the old glass or to replace the glass entirely if you do not wish to live with flawed glass.
