Most Expensive Comic Book Cover Art

The most expensive piece of original art for a comic book cover, “Egyptian Queen,” sold for $5.4 million at a 2019 Heritage auction. It was painted by Frank Frazetta. The artwork appeared on the cover of Eerie magazine No. 23 in 1969, as well as on other prints and posters.
