Rhead Family— Artists and Potters
Rhead came from a British family of distinguished artists and potters. Especially well known as potters in England were his father; his uncles, George Woolliscroft Rhead (1854–1920) and Louis John Rhead (1858–1926); and his sister Charlotte Rhead (1889–1947).
