Octagon Drop or Schoolhouse Clocks
The octagon-shaped schoolhouse clock was a popular style of wall clock used in offices, homes, and schools from about 1885 until the 1930s. Most of the clock cases were made of golden oak, rosewood, walnut, mahogany, or pressed oak.
