Apothecary Show Globe
Q: This apothecary globe bottle was one of a pair kept on the front counter in my father’s pharmacy. He said they were an indication to immigrants, who did not speak English, that the store sold medicine. They are approximately 24 inches tall and in four separate pieces. I remember the globes contained colored water. What are they called and what are they worth?
