Copper Dish
Q: I bought this at a yard sale and hope you can tell me something about it. It’s about 5 ½ inches wide including the handles and ¾ inch deep. The figure in the middle is about half an inch tall. Engraved around the edge is “Eisen war ich, Kupfer bin ich, Silber trag ich, Gold bedeket mich.” I found one online that said it was a Herrengrund cup. I don’t know if mine is an original or a reproduction.
