Q: I’d like to know something about this teapot. It’s 7 1/4 inches high and 5 inches wide. There is a Royal Doulton mark on the bottom. A note that came with it in 1968 said it was over 100 years old. Is it valuable?
A: It isn’t quite as old as you think. This teapot is part of Royal Doulton’s Dutch Flower Girls Series Ware made from 1911 to about 1916. The series has 10 different views of this girl carrying flowers. A teapot could sell for about $175.
If the ware was made from about 1911 until 1916 and this current year is 2016, would not the pot be 100 years or older???
I have a royal doulton pickwick series plate “the fatman” and I have another plate named “Orlando”..they are both approx. 10 inches ..do you know the current value of them?
