Q: I have owned a set of china dishes in this pattern for approximately 45 years. This bowl is stamped “Wawel.” Some dishes are stamped “Wav7,” which I think indicates the factory. I was told that it was made in Poland before World War II and that the factories that produced it were destroyed by bombs during the war. I’d like to know more about the maker.
