If you love antique and vintage advertising as much as we do at Kovels, you will be happy to learn that the Antique Advertising Association of America, America’s No. 1 club for collectors of all popular and antique advertising, is holding its convention “virtually” on July 11 and 12 instead of canceling it! This means that collectors of all forms and varieties of vintage and antique advertising — from paper, tin or wood signs to containers, ephemera or displays — will not miss out on planned seminars, exhibits and even a silent auction.

AAAA will be using the popular Zoom platform (a free app) and plans to replicate online almost every one of the planned activities, including room sales, seminars, Favorite Advertising, discussion groups, and more. Access will be provided free to all AAAA members, as well as collaborating groups (TLC and Graniteware). Two lucky “virtual” attendees will still have the opportunity to win copies of our “Kovels’ Antiques & Collectibles Price Guide 2020.”

Kovels.com will continue to update our readers on the virtual convention, as well as any other virtual opportunities for collectors. You can also visit the AAAA website, www.pastimes.org, or email Paul Lefkovitz, convention coordinator, at plefkov@gmail.com.
