The eccentric American potter George Ohr started out making inexpensive joke pottery sold at county fairs. One of his mugs that you could have purchased for a few dollars at the fair is now worth thousands. Ohr sold miniature potties with fake excrement in the bottom among other unusual items, but our favorite is his puzzle mug. The mug is full of holes and it looks like the liquid would pour down your shirt when you try to drink.
