Collectible Budweiser Cans Honor Heroes, the U.S. Military
May 27, 2020
Collectors of beer cans (and we know there are bunches of you out there!) take note: Three new collectible Budweiser Patriotic Cans debuted on Memorial Day in a TV spot, “Taste of Freedom.” The limited edition cans have a red, white and blue camouflage design, and include stars, stripes and custom icons that pay tribute to the five military branches. Budweiser Patriotic Cans are available through the end of August. Also, for each case sold now through July 4th, Budweiser is donating $1 to “Folds of Honor” (FoldsOfHonor.org) to provide educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members, up to $75,000. In addition, the Anheuser-Busch Foundation has donated $500,000 to the American Red Cross in support of military families. Budweiser, which first started making beer in 1876, also debuted a short film called “Take Two Minutes” on Memorial to honor military and “essential” workers.
