The design was inspired by the legend of the 13 crystal skulls “discovered” by archaeologists. (The 2008 movie, “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” was also inspired by the story.) Or, if you want another new but collectible bottle, buy a new “old” demijohn from the gift catalogs for $79 to $195. I own several green demijohns that came from an old New York state grape juice factory in the 1970s. Old ones sell for $200 or more.

I have a large crystal skull and several small ones. I put candles in them at my annual Halloween party or fill them with colored water. It is a really great effect!
