The Walt Disney Company no longer issues printed stock certificates. The certificate with pictures of Disney characters on them have been favored gifts for children for many years. They have a dollar value and they help teach children about the stock market. Some of the certificates bought in the past are worth five times cost. Collectors buy old certificates for the company name, for the beauty of the engravings, and for the autograph of the company CEO. There are companies that specialize in selling stock certificates in small quantities to be given away. (See also Kovels Komments, March 20, 2013.)

Hi
Any recommendations – how to sell original A T & T stock certificates for 1, 2 or 3 shares from around 1950. They have never been cashed in – no holes in them. Or is it impossible to transfer ownership w/o sending them in to have the name changed.
Are these worth more than canceled certificates?
Many thanks
Charlene
