Q: My husband found this beautiful Japanese-looking vase in a local antiques shop a few years ago. The vendor wasn’t present, so we weren’t able to ask any questions about it. It’s about 8 inches high, no chips or dings anywhere. There are no markings on the bottom. Tiny wires are imbedded around the floral arrangement on the front. It makes us think of cloisonné. The back is plain. The interior is a thick bluish-gray color. It’s surprisingly heavy. Can you tell us something about our mystery vase?
