Q. I have been trying to find information about this music box. It’s labeled “The Olympia” inside of the lid. My great-aunt bought it, which means it dates from around 1900. It has been in our family ever since. Both the box and its stand are made of carved oak. The box contains the mechanism and soundboard. The lid is fitted with a picture of a winter scene. Inside the cabinet are 40 zinc discs, each 15 1/2 inches in diameter and etched with decorations and the words “The Olympia.”
