Q: I received eight of these Spode Copeland’s China plates with roses and raised gold borders from my grandmother about 10 years ago. The “Y6933R” mark seems to suggest these were made in the 1970s, maybe as a reproduction. There is also an impressed letter and number mark. It looks like “D” over “28.” What can you tell me about these plates?
