I have what appears to be a wooden figure of an old Black man. He is 6 1/4″ tall, Bald with a white ring of hair. Big eyes and lips. Hunched over with his left hand on cane (walking stick) right hand on back of hip. He is wearing a dark green vest. Appears to be hand carved and painted. I have owned it for over 40 years and have never been able to itentify it. Because of the racial nature of this item, I have been reluctant to show him to anyone. Anyone have any idea who or what he is ?????
