my question is I bought this pair of tables off craigslist from a man in Hudson who said his ex-wife inherited them from her grandmother with research I came to the conclusion they are mersmon 6651. simply beautiful no mark who else could of made them? thanks so much

Many manufacturers made this style, both side and drum tables as well as dining sets from the late 30`s through the 40`s !! Typically known as Duncan Phyfe Revival style tables. Some had the thin brass capped feet, usually the urn shaped base had them, and some did not. I did have my entire dining room furnished with this and I still have a couple of the drum (round top, skirted) tables in storage. There will be just minor differences in them between each mfr.!! Of course there are some older tables but without seeing yours no way to know.
