I am downsizing and would like to sell some furniture but as I do not have the history I am unable to price it correctly – Mahogany Secretaire and Liquor Cabinet, Ball & Claw. Does anyone have an idea about where this might have been made. In England perhaps?

These were made approx. mid century !! And I am guessing about 1940`s or so !! The Liquor cabinet is in the style seen from the UK many times !! And if I were a betting person I would bet the secretaire was made there as well !! Back in the late 60`s and 70`s items like these were brought here (U.S. ) by container loads !! Prices for anything that looked antique were high and they could be purchased for pennies on the dollar in the UK !!

Please find attached as requested further details on the writing desk – dovetails on the side of the drawer and the interior and the pull out side supports, flap lock detail and foot.

Can you open the drawer on the secretaire and take a pic of the dovetail joints on the side ?? Also take one with the writing desk down !!
