I have a large set of 1930’s cut glass that was given to my mother as a wedding gift in 1940. I was told it was hobnail and it resembles the diamond cut hobnail pattern but I can’t quite find anything like it. Attached are pics of one piece. Anyone know exactly what this is? I also can’t find any marks.

Not quite antique but is certainly vintage !! What you have is EAPG or Early American Pressed Glass or some say Pattern Glass !! Cut glass is much different !! I think your set may be one of the Indiana Glass patterns !! You can look above and see !! Every glass company had at least one or more of the diamond patterns !! Finding the exact one you have can be difficult but most similar patterns will be valued about the same !! I have a few pieces of one that I have searched for years for the pattern name but have not found it yet !! Diamond patterns sold well and was one of the most common patterns !! The one pictured is a footed water glass I think !! Although they can be called by other names !! It is not hobnail !! Hobnail was a rounded dot !! Examples below !! I searched for Federal Glass but the search is showing Indiana Glass, maybe it was them instead of Federal !! Too many to keep up with !!
