Hi, I have been trying to find out what these three objects are for several years. All three have fronts depicting what appear to be Catholic religious designs. They are about 3″ x 3″ and are metal. Two have pins that have no closure, just look like straight pins. The third has a thin solid metal piece across the middle of its back. This is my first attemp on this site and hope I have attached pictures that will help. Sorry, I can’t convert pdf file into required format to show picture-still hope someone can help.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Well, the Metal Arts company did a lot of military items and items for the Boy scouts of America. Perhaps the tie clasp item is more like a neckerchief slide? Perhaps the larger pins were attached to sashes on formal raiment worn by clergy? If you find some info, I hope you’ll update us. Thanks

Hmm, seem large to be lapel pins and very dangerous since the pins don’t have any closures. The one that you indicated may be a tie clasp – the bar doesn’t move, it is one solid piece of metal that is connected to back on both ends, so there isn’t any movement to the bar at all-don’t know how it would be held to something as thin as tie. Thanks for your help. much appreciated.

The pin items appear to be lapel pins and the other a tie clasp…
However, I found little to no information on the Metal Arts company, except that it appears to be closed. Because the company did a lot of military pins, perhaps these had something to do w/ a particular religous sect or even the Masons or something. Good luck.

Am going to try to post picture. I’ve reduced 300as suggested. The one pin that has two prongs and its back showing has Metal Arts Co Roch (or Koch) NY is 2 1/2×1 1 1/2″ the other that has a bracket across its back is 3×1 3/4″ w/no marks on back. I attached photos in my posts as well, but just remember, it will reject the photo if too large. I used MS office picture manager to resize mine to 300 X 300 and that made it post easily. Good luck.
