dog water bowl

I can’t tell real clearly from the picture, but it looks like an English tea caddy to me. They were lead or metal lined to keep the tea fresh, and had locks to keep the helps hands out of them. What are the dimentions of this?

The dimentions are 16″ tall, 40″ long and 15″ deep.
Any clue as to value?

whoa that is a bit big for a tea cabby. Back to square one. I am sorry I don’t know, but more picture of details and any marks would greatly help.

a cellarette for wine maybe. the dimensions and metal lining are correct for this. i haven’t seen a double or triple wide like this before, and it probably was born with a stand that has since gone missing. if i’m correct, it’s worth a few hundred bucks or more.
