Wondering if anyone has any information on a Wooden Coke truck.
It is 34 inches long, 12 inches tall, and 9 inches wide, it weighs 30+ lbs. It is carved, out of wood, the doors open, and the front wheels “steer” by the steering wheel in the cab. Where the cargo area is, it is carved to look like cases of Coke, 22 cases on each side, and the cargo area opens. The top of the cases look like bottles and there are 1,056 tiny “bottle tops”. The frame on the underside is metal, and even has the fuel tank and a removeable tool box. The wheels turn, and appear to be made of a ceramic type material, as are the bottle tops. The front and rear bumpers are made of metal. This truck even comes with a hand truck, which stores away in the cargo area. Each case of Coke, is painted with the ‘Coca Cola’ logo, and it has a top rail that runs the length of the cargo area says slogans like “Delicious Coca Cola” “Refresh yourself”. All Logos are correct, and on the bottom frame it does say, ‘All rights reserved, Coca Cola Company, with a “C” inside a circle.
I do know of one other truck like it, and was wondering if any of the Coca Cola Collectors might have some idea about this unusual truck.
Some one put a LOT of work into this and I would like to know more on it and what it may be worth.
