We got a box of glass plates or slides, 11 x 14 inches, with actors’ and directors’ names from various movies of the 1940’s. They are very cool. Does anyone know what they are called, and how much they might be worth? One example is “The Bribe” from 1949 which says: with Samuel S. Hinds, John Hoyt, Tito Renaldo, Martin Garralaga. Another is “Act of Violence” and the slide says: with Mary Astor as Pat, Janet Leigh as Edith Enley, Phyllis Thaxter as Ann.
