This is what I do,, first a general search for the item you are looking for !! Then look at the collectors forums !! They give several questions on that item as you can see !! Look at a few to see if they will help !! Usually you can get a good feel for value just by reading the collectors answers to various questions !! Then I looked at the EBTH listing and saw that one in nice condition sold for $405. !! Another I saw that was much more elaborately carved sold for $1000.!! I also look at Ebay to see what people are actually paying,,not asking prices but sold prices !! It will be on the left column of any ebay page !! If you do not find it just click on the “refine list” at the top of the page then look in the left column !! Another thing to check ebay for is,, are any cabinet models selling and at what price !! If they are not selling online you might be better off getting an auction house to handle the sales if there is a reputable one near you !! Doesn`t have to be a big auction house just a good honest one !! If you do use an auction house make sure you have detailed records of each item and take a pic of each !! Just use one of those throw away cameras and keep the pic with the entry of each !!
Its not really difficult,, just use a spiral school notebook and staple the corresponding pic with the correct page !! Thats so you do not get ripped off if you use an auction house !! Anyway selling large items online can really be a pain since you have to deal with the shipping details !! The buyer may pay for it but its still a pain in the posterior !!
