Anyone have any info on this book? It was previously appraised (I don’t know by whom), onion skin paper placed between pages. The person who had it appraised would not tell the value, and did not want to give it back. (Long story) I have searched and cannot find another like it. Any direction would be appreciated. I have looked on Abes Books.

A bit more info !! When new these sold for $5.00 !! That was expensive for the time !!

Another snippet of information !! Says this was a holiday edition and from what I can tell it is from 1898 !! Still looking and may enlist some help from another forum !!
