Anyone have any info on this book? It was previously appraised (I don’t know by whom), onion skin paper placed between pages. The person who had it appraised would not tell the value, and did not want to give it back. (Long story) I have searched and cannot find another like it. Any direction would be appreciated. I have looked on Abes Books.

If your mother wrote a personal note when she bought it,, I would just keep both as a keepsake and maybe pass it down !! Your mother must have been a savvy shopper to have grabbed this book !!
It might be wise to replace the onion skin paper with acid free paper to prevent any additional deterioration of the artwork !!
Ahhh yes…I’m in Real Estate so know the ‘it’s only worth what someone is willing to pay’ concept!! Though so many do not!! I thank you very much for your help. Always nice to dream big….best part? My mom had a little note with the book that she got it at a garage sale for a quarter!! 🙂 , so if I were to get $89.95 like the other seller…that would be great!

I cross posted this to my other forum and one of the members found this listing !! It sold at the asking price !! Keep in mind that when asking about a value,, it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it !! No matter what anyone says,,!! I had a $100. to $200. figure in mind when we started looking at this !! Wish it could be more but that does not happen often !!
