I recently purchased a set of knitting needles with a roll case and found some knitting patterns in the case pouch that say “Instructions for the approved patterns of the admiralty, the official patterns of the war office and the air ministry, for knitted garments for his Majesty’s forces.” They are for a Helmet with Ear Holes, a Balaclava Helmet, and a Men’s V Neck Sleeveless Sweater for the group “Bundles for Britain” a World War II service garment knitting campaign. They are printed 10/01/1940 and 7/15/1941. I find them fascinating and I do not know for sure what value they have or what I should do with them. Any help would be appreciated.
