I was wondering if there are any Roseville collectors who might be able to give me some insight as to the rates of appreciation for Roseville? My husband (the collector) and I just found a 12″ Water Lily console bowl for around $100, in excellent condition. Our guide gives a value of between $120-175 but it’s a few years old, so I wondered if we can expect further appreciation of this piece or if it’s pretty much reached its apex?
How anything will appreciate in the future is really unknown. $100 for a Roseville Console Bowl is not a great buy, but it’s not bad either. Now is a great time to buy American Art pottery. Values are somewhat down to the lowest level they’ve been in awhile. I would appreciate your pottery and then check Ebay in about five years to see “how it’s doing”. Good luck.
