I’ve seen a couple of these online listed as AVON inkwells. 1886 – 1888
And I sent the images to someone and they confirmed this.
Even a paid appraisal, but I’m still not confident.
I’m just looking for a few more comments on the ID of this.
Is this even a inkwell?
I’m just looking for another confirmation on this.

4 inches across the bottom and 1 1/2 inches high
Is this the AVON Pottery from 1886 – 1888?

In Kovels’ Dictionary of Marks (1986 copy) There is a Pottery Company that used the “Avon” mark with wavy lines under it. It was from Tiltonville Ohio USA from 1900 to 1905.
