I bought this crazed bowl (Photo attached) and it could be brand new but I thought that the mark was interesting. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

The bowl is 10″ in diameter on the outside rim, 8″ in diameter on the inside rim and 2.5″ tall. The inside rim is decorated with a scribed brown edge. The rest of the bowl is a variegated grey and crazed overall.
