Can anyone tell me about Purinton pottery Intaglia done in carmel (caramel) color.
I read somewhere that this was an experimental line and I have quite a few pieces.
And does anyone know any prices?

I live about 20 miles from Knox where this was made.

I can’t find any info anywhere.

Thanks!

:cheer: Hi Casey, I did find some more info from a book by Harvey Duke and here is what hes written>>>>Intaglio was made in six colors.Brown is the most common,Turquoise a little scarcer, Baby blue, Caramel, Coral & Sapphire are very hard to find. Then he discribes patterns & decorations. Pricing: Prices below are for brown. Add 20% for Turquoise. Add 50% for other colors. So they probably were experimental colors. So the price for 11inch salad bowl in brown is $65.00. Double that for caramel would be $130.00 Thank you for your reply and your right. There is a caramel color thats not even mentioned in other books I have nor in Kovels.
