Hi,
I recently purchased 2 pieces of pottery signed by F R Stahl. It is transferware.
It has a man with a mandolin sitting courting a woman sitting with a dog laying at her feet and on the otherside a man playing mandolin courting 2 woman sitting.
I really love these two vases and love to research items I find.
First step is I would like to find more information on the artist.
F.R. Stahl
But can’t find much other than he worked for Royal Vienna in the mid- late 1800’s.
Where can I find more information on this artist?
